Renewable Energy booths will cover solar photovoltaic, residential and commercial water heating systems, active and passive lighting systems, small scale wind generators, and geothermal heat pumps, among other topics.  Utility companies will be present to explain and offer green power and green pricing programs.

Green & Efficient Building representatives will showcase alternative building methods such as SIP, ICF and Earth Shelter Homes.  Learn about on-site sewage and grey water systems, rain water collection, energy efficiency measurement, recycled and non-toxic building materials and home and community recycling programs.

Sustainable/Organic Gardening & Farming exhibitors will have organic fertilizers, soil conditioners, natural herbicides and pesticides for sale. Find ideas for Xeriscaping, use of native flowers, bushes and grasses to maintain natural land integrity and water conservation.  Learn about water run off management, hormone and chemical free livestock production along with sustainable/organic bio-dynamic farming methods.

The Alternative Transportation area will showcase hybrid and flex fuel vehicles, electric cars and scooter and even a few human powered options.  Come see bio diesel, ethanol blends and other renewable fuels and fueling systems.  Sustainable community and transportation planning is something every town needs to focus on.
